Haunted house visitor mistakes a 'ghost' for his sister
Is there anything she can do to stop Lenore from taking over, or will she soon become someone else entirely? And what really happened 11 years ago at the pond? Could Janine have really killed her own sister? Or is she simply going insane? What's great: This book is completely unpredictable. It's very creepy at times, and readers will be dying to find out what really happened to Lenore.

I liked Rafe's part in things. But it wasn't believable in any sense. What Mother isn't concerned when her teenage daughter wants to be called by her dead twins name? Uh, that's not normal and I don't care what anyone says.

Nope, no dead twin, no alive twin, nothing like that in my world but I can stil This isn't written well. I totally didn't get the end. I still don't understand what the hell happened to be honest. The writing was very That's the word that comes to mind. There was nothing underneath it. There was no depth.

It was all cut and dry and not believable. That doesn't work for a story like this, one that centers around family and relationships. Remind me never to go there will you?

Miss this one - you won't miss anything. Oct 28, Cassy rated it it was amazing. When Jenean gets in the accident after skipping school, she ended up in the hospital. Thinking she's going crazy as she hears a voice inside her head, I discovered throughout the book that Jenean has a twin sister that died when she was four years young. Her twin sister had died from drowning in her mothers bird bath.
But it turns out That Jenean was not Jenean. She was her twin sister. Her and her sister had shirts that had Their names on them so their mother could tell them apart. So when "Jenean" dorwned her sister, she switched shirts. This book made me think deeply in some parts. When it finnaly described that she was really her sister, I was extremely surprised. This would be one my favorite books.

I have the weird experience of not actually knowing if I've read this one before. I think I have, as parts of it seemed very familiar, and it's exactly the type of book I'd have gotten out when perusing the YA shelves of the library when I was a teen, but there were too many unfamiliar things it in too, so I can't say for sure if I'm not just confusing it with one of the many similar books.
Anyway, as you can see from the rating I wasn't too impressed. It's one of those books that sta I have the weird experience of not actually knowing if I've read this one before. It's one of those books that started out well but ended much too abruptly. I'd like to have seen another pages to tie up the last threads. It was a quick read though - only took me about an hour to read.
Apr 21, Megan rated it really liked it Shelves: own-real-books , reading-challenge , my-childhood-favorites. I love this book just because it is one I have read about a dozen or more times. I found this book maybe ten or more years ago in a box in our basement and fell in love with it. I haven't read it for quite some time now, but I remembered why I loved it. I have always been intrigued with the thought of two people sharing bodies, but I never thought one would be a ghost of sister's past.
I wish this one would've been longer. I would've liked to have spent more time with Janine and Lenore. If you'r I love this book just because it is one I have read about a dozen or more times. If you're looking for a good, short book as a quick read then you should consider this one.
I will be reading it for many years to come. May 08, Crystal rated it it was amazing. This is a book about a girl named Janine who dies in a car accident. She then goes over to the 'other world' only to find out she should still live. She goes back only to find that her dead twin was now living inside her head. Some things I had noticed throughout the book was that surprises just kept coming non-stop. It was also very addicting and descriptive and I felt as if I was there with all the characters.
Overall, this was a great book and I would reccomend this book to anyone who likes suspenseful books. Oct 30, Dina Chariag added it.
This horror book is more of a creepy book, than scary. I liked the idea that her dead twin sister had invaded her body and started controlling her life. Still, the book was a good book to read, it makes you feel like you'r inside their heads, viewing life from their eyes rather than just through the lines.
I am curious to re "Haunted Sister" written by Lael Littke has pages. I am curious to read more books of simular plots, or from Lael Littke. Nov 16, Miranda Carfora rated it it was amazing Shelves: my-classics , contemporary.
